Mondino presented the Export and Investment Promotion Plan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Diana Mondino, presided over the presentation of the National Plan for the Promotion of Exports and Investments 2024 before officials and representatives of the provinces, as reported by the Foreign Ministry.
During an event at the ministerial headquarters, Mondino highlighted "the importance of coordinated work between the Foreign Ministry and the provinces to identify the exportable supply and all those obstacles that could hinder the development of the export potential of our companies, whatever their size."
In a statement, the chancellor highlighted that "each market that opens, no matter how small, can have an extremely important impact for the company that managed to export and in turn have multiple positive externalities, such as the experience of opening of the same sector in other countries".
In a statement, the San Martín Palace indicated that the chancellor was accompanied by the Secretary of International Economic Relations, Héctor Marcelo Cima; the Undersecretary of Promotion of Exports, Investments, Education, Science and Culture, Ramiro Velloso; the president of the Argentine Agency for the Promotion of Trade and Investment (AAICI), Julián Cohen; and the entire staff of directors of the promotion area of the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
In addition, representatives from 20 provinces participated, who agreed to work together with the Foreign Ministry to move towards a more efficient use of resources, in order to carry out actions and programs that enhance the exports of Argentine companies to the world, as well as their internationalization. and global positioning.
The aforementioned plan defines the organization and participation in trade missions, exhibitions, contests and samples, through the network of Argentine embassies and consulates abroad and in coordination with the AAICI, the Federal Investment Council (CFI) and the provincial Agencies. .
It also includes actions to accompany the Country Brand strategy, in conjunction with other public entities.
Palacio San Martín highlighted that, according to the plan, in 2024 more than 2,400 promotion, dissemination, assistance and training actions will be carried out related to the constant improvement, expansion and diversification of Argentine exports.
